The following are some reasons that you will also need a Building Department Permit.
  • All new dwellings
  • Garages
  • Pool, including deck adjacent/surrounding a pool
  • Sheds over 200 sq. feet
  • Decks/Patio with a finished height of 30 inches above average ground grade
  • Decks/Patio that have a means of egress (door) from a dwelling leading on to it.
  • Free standing signs
  • Roofing and re-roofing of a structure.
  • Any structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC etc.
