The operations are based out of the road department complex located at 549 Laurel Drive, Tobyhanna, PA. The regular scheduled hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm. However, during inclement weather, hours will vary depending on weather conditions.
Public Works is responsible for and maintains approximately seventy (70) miles of township roadways. They are also responsible for maintenance of township infrastructure, buildings, grounds, parks, open space areas, storm drainage.
The Monroe County Waste Authority Blue Bins have been removed from the Coolbaugh Townships Recycling Center located at 549 Laurel Drive, Tobyhanna.

Paper: office, newspapers, magazines, junk mail, shredded paper, books, cereal boxes and the like;
plastics: numbers 1 & 2, no black plastic of any number accepted;
aluminum, bi-metal cans, and glass.
